Our Story...

My Story

​

For those who don't already know, my name is Crystal. I've always been secretly jealous of all the moms who are super creative and have tons of fun activities lined up and make being a mom look super easy. I'm sort of a creative type, I usually just need a little inspiration to get me going... and plus who doesn't love adding a little personal touches to their family's life? Not taking all day to do it is just a major bonus =)

While searching the net early one morning for printable sick notes for my daughter Leah, I found tons of random stuff on tons of different sites. Some still worked, others didn't. Needless to say my desperate attempt to spruce up my one sentence, boring notes left me thinking, "Hey I could totally make a site with all of this random stuff in one place!" And here we are.

My Family's Story

​I've always considered our family somewhat unique. I have my two beautiful daughters, Leah (6) and Rosalie (2). They are my inspiration. I also have my teenage brother/foster son, Justin, who takes quite a bit of motivation in which I had to completely rethink my parenting styles. Everyday is a new learning experience! We all live with my boyfriend, Rafael (who could probably care less about how pretty things are, as long as they get done lol). I try to make everyday special for my family with little handmade touches. Hence the name, Homemade Moms!
